Meet Ruth Babalola
I'm Ruth Babalola, a Specialist Teacher and SEN Assessor with over 10 years' experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
I work with families and with organisations that serve children and young people — churches, performing arts schools, tutoring centres and community groups — in person in the UK and online worldwide. Whether a child has a diagnosis of ADHD, dyslexia, autism or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), or simply seems to learn differently, my work starts with understanding, and ends with practical support that makes a real difference.
Qualifications & professional standing
OCR Level 7 Diploma
in Dyslexia and SpLDs — the qualification level JCQ requires of specialist assessors.
OCR Level 5 Diploma
in SpLD.
Current APC
SASC-regulated Assessment Practising Certificate under the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (United Kingdom).
